Terry was forced off during Tuesday night's Champions
League win at Maccabi Tel Aviv with an ankle injury.
Mourinho
claimed after the match the 34-year-old was a major doubt for this
weekend's Premier League clash.
But
he refused to rule out the possibility of his captain featuring against Spurs
at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
"I
don't want to say that it's impossible that he plays, because maybe he plays
and you'll say I was hiding," Mourinho said.
"Today
he didn't train but we have a little hope that it's possible."
Midfielder
Ramires
is a major doubt to face Tottenham having missed the midweek trip to
Israel tie with an undisclosed injury.
Cesc Fabregas, though, is fit despite revealing a
toe injury after the Maccabi win.
