The longtime shortstop's new fiancée Hannah Davis is the full package: successful, laid back, drop-dead gorgeous — and she tells GQ magazine the two stars are living a fantasy life one year after Mr. November hung up his cleats for good.
Davis, 25, and the former Bronx Bombers' captain have been luxuriating
often in St. Thomas at a stunning getaway mansion on the water — a place
that even the swimsuit model dreams of when she's away.
"It feels like a Fourth of July barbecue every day there," she says in
the new issue of GQ, in which she flaunts her amazing figure in a series
of sultry snapshots.
"It's that laid-back mentality I miss most, people there just not quite moving as fast as the rest of the world," she said.
But it's not all beachfronts and barbecues for the 25-year-old stunner,
who, in addition to covering Sports Illustrated's iconic Swimsuit
Edition in 2013, has appeared in several different DirecTV commercial
campaigns the past few years.
Despite her overwhelming wave of success in the industry, Davis didn't
start modeling until later on in her youth. In fact, she only began
modeling at all in an attempt to raise money for her budding tennis
career.
"Started modeling to buy tennis racquets," said Davis, who was a ranked junior tennis player growing up. "And it kiiinda grew from there."
Her future husband, too, has been keeping incredibly busy since walking
away from the Yankees in 2014 after 20 seasons — even through he's
regularly been spotted with Davis in different countries accross the
globe.
Things haven't, however, been all good for the 41-year-old Jeter, who was recently hit with a lawsuit
claiming he backed out of a deal with Swedish underwear company Frigo,
and that he had a problem with the clothing line making the product "too
gay" or "too urban."
Jeter reportedly told TMZ that the claims from the suit are
"categorically false," adding that he's disgusted by the allegations.
