Unlike Steve Harvey, Miss Universe judge Perez Hilton is 100% sure which contestant should have won.
The gossip blogger, who served as one of several judges on Sunday's
pageant broadcast, slammed mistakenly crowned runner-up Miss Colombia as
a "straight-up diva b----" unworthy of the coveted crown and declared
that Harvey "didn't do his job well" as host.
"I don't know if the people at home could see this, but Miss Colombia
was being straight-up diva b---- rude to her translator," Hilton during
the latest episode of "The Perez Hilton Podcast.".
"She was giving the most awful side-eye, throwing major shade because
Miss Colombia was not happy with the pace or the way that the translator
was translating."
"I was like, 'She's being c---y right now,'" he added. "It was a major turn-off."
But it wasn't just Ariadna Gutierrez's "b----y and arrogant" behavior that put off Hilton and his fellow judges, he said.
"It was that Miss Philippines gave a better answer. She deserves it,"
he said before dismissively comparing the runner-up to another Colombian
bombshell. "She is Miss Universe, whereas the Miss Colombia, I'm like,
you're Sofia Vergara. You're not Miss Universe."
In a separate interview on "Good Morning America,"
Hilton also dressed down Harvey, who famously flubbed his live results
announcement by awarding the crown to Miss Colombia instead of the true
victor Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach.
"He just didn't do his job well, period," he said of the mustachioed "Family Feud" host.
Hilton went on to refute previous reports originating from a
since-deleted Snapchat post that the teleprompter had fed Harvey the
wrong name.
"There is a prompter, but the moment where he crowns the winner isn't
on the prompter because that moment, they don't want the other girls to
know, so it was just on his card and he read it incorrectly," he said.
Harvey, currently on an apology tour for his embarrassing gaffe, reportedly skipped the last hour of rehearsals for the live broadcast.
"He did not practice the ending," a source told Entertainment Tonight.
