Khloe Kardashian is feeling particularly charitable this holiday season.
The reality star is set to host a new, E! Network series titled "Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian," in which she helps down-in-the-dumps people turn their luck around by giving them a full-body makeover.
"Looking great is always the best revenge," Kardashian said in a
statement Wednesday. "It's so exciting to be able to mentor these people
through their full-body makeovers and I can't wait to see the
incredible results at their final reveals!"
The new, six-part series will offer transformations to people who were
dumped, fired from their job or are generally facing a difficult
challenge in their life.
Every episode, two new scuffling individuals will get the chance to
recreate themselves with the guidance of Kardashian's hand-picked teams
of stylists, trainers and glamor specialists.
The 31-year-old TV personality certainly has experience in the revenge-body department.
In September, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed that
she devoted a tremendous amount of time to the gym as she neared the end
of her relationship with estranged husband Lamar Odom.
"I was having a hard time with Lamar," she told Women's Health
magazine. "It was toward the end of our union, and there was so much
drama. I needed a release."
Later in the interview, she revealed she uses her new fit frame to silence the naysayers of her past.
"It's a revenge body," she said. "But it's just as much for all my critics who called me 'the fat one' for my entire existence."
It's currently unknown when Kardashian's new, transformative series
will premiere - but executives at E! believe the show will make a
considerable difference in its subject's lives.
"We are so excited to partner with Khloé Kardashian to help these
deserving people seek the ultimate revenge," said Jeff Old, a vice
president at the network. "By tapping her unlimited resources, Khloé
offers transformations of true Hollywood proportions."
Kardashian is set to get some series face time on little screen in the
near future. In addition to the new series and "Keeping Up with the
Kardashians," the youngest of the three Kardashian sisters will soon
host a new talk show on the FYI network, "Kocktails with Khloe."
