Tracy Morgan has no memory of the car crash that nearly cost him his life.
"I don't remember any of it. And my doctor said, 'You don't want to remember any of it,'" he told Barbara Walters as part of her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2015” special, airing Thursday.
After the accident, he said his wife Megan was told by doctors they weren't sure if he would be able to come out of his coma.
"But when I first came out of the coma, I was blind for a week," he revealed.
The “30 Rock” star suffered from broken bones and traumatic brain
injury from the accident, and spent five months in a wheelchair as he
underwent therapy to recover from his injuries.
The actor told Walters that his doctors said he does not have any brain
damage, but confessed that he's not sure he believed them.
“When you take a bump like that on the head, I don’t think everything’s going to be there 100 percent,” he said.
Morgan’s health has improved enough that he has been able to return to comedy. As part of his comeback, he hosted “Saturday Night Live” in October, is in talks to star in a Richard Pryor biopic as Red Foxx and will hit the road for his “Picking up the Pieces” comedy tour early next year.
The comedian’s full interview will be featured during "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015," airing Thursday at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
