On Saturday, the rap star, who shares custody of a one-year-old son,
Future Jr. with the songtress, released his new mixtape "Purple Reign."
But instead of celebrating on Future's Twitter and Instagram pages,
fans decided to make it rain by posting purple rain emojis on Ciara and Russell Wilson's social media accounts.
The Twitter storm continued well into Sunday both on social media and
at the NFC divisional playoff game when Future's music was played in an
effort to antagonize Wilson.
Panthers defensive player Tre Boston even danced a move from Future's video"Where Ya At," according to Fox Sports. The Seahawks lost to the Carolina Panthers 31 - 24.

Earlier this month, the rapper went on a Twitter tirade against the "Get Up" stating that "this b--ch got control problems."
The harsh words appear to have something to do with the hitmaker unable to see his son.
He revealed on social media that he was running out of patience after being "silent" for a year and a half.
"I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture...the f--kery for 15k a
month," he wrote on Monday. "I just want babyfuture that's all."
