It's raining cash for two strippers who have settled their federal lawsuit against a Queens jiggle joint for unpaid wages.
Sugardaddy's of Long Island City has agreed to pay a total of $200,000
to Mettanie Tapia and Shauna Kern, both former dancers at the club.
The women claimed they were cheated out of minimum wages, tips, and
overtime, but the club admitted no wrongdoing under the settlement
agreement filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.
Tapia, who dances under the name "Karma," had previously sued another
mammary mecca, Gentleman's Club in Astoria, and collected a $40,000
settlement in that employment case.
Gentleman's Club has other issues as well — it was hit Wednesday with a new lawsuit.
Universal Music Corp. slapped the pleasure palace with a federal
copyright lawsuit alleging that songs by Notorious B.I.G. and Skillz for
Skillz were played without permission.
