The Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue
Service, Mr. Babatunde Fowler, and the Head, Tax Services, PwC, Mr.
Taiwo Oyedele, are among dignitaries and economic experts scheduled to
speak at one-day economic summit in Lagos.
The summit, tagged, ‘Thriving in a period of economic summit’,
will address issues relating to tax revenue and the citizens; changes
in business models and how businesses can source for foreign exchange
amid the current scarcity, according to a statement by the organisers.
The programme, being organised by the
Lagos Province 21 Headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God
to enhance the socio-economic and spiritual development of its members,
will hold on Saturday.
Other personalities scheduled to speak
at the programme, according to the statement, are the Chairman, Lagos
State Board of Inland Revenue, Mr. Folarin Ogunsanwo; the Managing
Director, Sahara Group, Mr. Tonye Cole; and the Chief Executive Officer,
UAC Nigeria, Mr. Hakeem Ogunniran.
It will also feature the CEO of RTC
Advisory, Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje; the Director-General, Lagos Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, Mr. Muda Yusus; and the Director-General,
Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Mr. Remi Ogunmefun, among other
captains of industries.
According to the organisers, the
programme will be moderated by the CEO of Proshare Nigeria, Mr. Olufemi
Awoyemi, while the keynote address will be delivered by the CEO of
Nextnomics, Dr. Temitope Oshikoya.
