Keeping up with Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom just got even more konfusing.
The social media maverick posted a lengthy and cryptic message to
Instagram on Sunday evening, which hinted she’s ready to give up on her
troubled relationship with her estranged husband.
“Letting go with love takes great strength. We have to learn to stop
taking on people’s problems as if they are our own,” Kardashian kicked
off her online outpouring.
“Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and
confusions on our back,” she continued. “You can’t want their life more
than they do.”
The reality star’s painful message read like a goodbye note. Despite
not naming Odom, the 31-year-old reflects in detail on moving on and
fans quickly read in between the lines.
“Stop shattering your own heart by trying to make a relationship
(friend, family, partner) work that clearly isn't meant to work,” she
wrote.
“We have to stop trying to repaint people's colors. We have to learn to
believe the love we aren’t given. You can't love someone into loving
you (God I wish it were that easy)” she added.
The “Kocktails with Khloe” host, who has been devotedly tending to her
ex since his brothel binge in October, has displayed increasing signs of
acceptance that some things “are not meant to be.”
“Sometimes the person you want most is the person you’re best without,” she said.
“It took me so many years to understand that. Don’t lose yourself by trying to fix what’s meant to stay broken,” she continued.
In a typical social media move, the “Strong Looks Better Naked” author
later warned her readers not to “read too deep into things.”
“Writing is therapeutic on any level and I believe art in any form is personal and should not be explained,” she tweeted.
Her emotional writing on Instagram follows Odom’s alleged refusal to enter rehab and drinking habits since he was recently spotted drinking cognac and mixed drinks.
Kardashain, who put her divorce on hold after Odom nearly died, has
frequently taken to the Internet with hard-to-dissect personal messages.
After the former NBA player was caught hitting the bottle again, she tweeted “I hate this feeling ... Helpless."
