Nicki Minaj reveals ex Safaree Samuels sued her, slams rapper in Twitter rant

"Anaconda" artist Nicki Minaj says her ex-boyfriend is a snake.

The outspoken hip-hop star unleashed a vicious Twitter rant against longtime beau Safaree Samuels on Tuesday, claiming the little-known rapper is trying to "extort" her after apparently hitting her with a lawsuit.

"Two years later this poor excuse of a man is suing me & claiming to have been physically & emotionally abused," she wrote near the beginning of her diatribe. "Lol. He's so miserable."

The online outburst only escalated from there, with Minaj deeming her former flame a leech looking to cash in on her success.

You can't even celebrate your happiness anymore w/o being victimized. Miserable ppl refuse to move on w/their lives," she wrote. "My man asked him to stop emailing me. I also asked him several times. This man can't move on. It's really sad. I have the emails to prove it."

 

"Look @ what 'men' have become so that they don't have to work," she continued. "Fathers pls stay in your sons' lives."

Minaj, 33, never used Samuels by name in the exposé, but she retweeted multiple fans who did in between her posts. TMZ also reported Minaj's tweets were in response to Samuels threatening a lawsuit.

Towards the end of the social media outpour, Minaj — who celebrated her current boyfriend Meek Mill's birthday just days earlier — implied she caught Samuels stealing money from her and planned to fight back.

She then punctuated her flare-up with one final, biting salvo that read, "Whatever isn't rightfully yours will become a curse once u have it. The money u leaches win in lawsuits will never bless u. It will curse u."

Late last year, TMZ reported Samuels — who dated Minaj for 12 years — was preparing to sue the "Pound the Alarm” rapper in hopes of landing a multi-million dollar payout for his role in producing several of her singles and three of her albums: "Pink Friday," "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" and "The Pinkprint."
