Hey —secret —baby girl.
Actors Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes reportedly welcomed a baby girl two
weeks ago, pulling off an almost entirely hidden pregnancy, according to TMZ.
A birth certificate obtained by the gossip site, which cites Mendes and
Gosling as the parents, lists newborn baby Amada Lee Gosling, born
April 29 at 8:03 a.m.
It’s an interesting name for the bundle of joy, who was born at a Santa
Monica, Calif. hospital. Her older sister Esmerlda has the middle name
Amada as well.
The Spanish name means beloved in Spanish and is also the name of Mendes' late grandmother.
It was only last month that reports emerged about the notoriously private couple expecting another child.
The 41-year-old brunette beauty and the 35-year-old “The Notebook” star remained mum on the pregnancy — similar to how they handled the birth of their first child, whom they welcomed in September 2014.
The Hollywood stunners met in 2011 on the set of “The Place Beyond the Pines” and have yet to marry.
"I'm with the person I'm supposed to be with — I'm not looking for
anything else beyond Eva — and I feel very lucky that we have a
beautiful, healthy daughter, who is an angel. That's investment enough
for me,” Gosling recently told Hello! magazine.
