Italy defender Mattia De Sciglio's agent confirms interest in client

The agent of AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio has revealed there are a number of clubs chasing his client - amid reported interest from Liverpool.

The Italy international has become a firmly-established part of AC Milan's team in recent seasons, having graduated from the club's academy in 2011.

And now he is being targeted by a number of rival clubs in Serie A, while Liverpool are also lining up an offer.

De Sciglio is currently on duty with Italy at the European Championship and his agent, Donato Orgnoni, says the player will consider his future at the San Siro after the tournament.

He told Soccerweb24: "At this time a number of clubs have shown interest, however we have not discussed anything.

"Along with Juventus, Napoli and Roma, there are other teams, but I am not naming names.

"After the European Championship we will consider the various proposals. We have not yet thought about the market – but we do enjoy interest from these very important clubs."
