It's no illusion — Lady Gaga is finally giving fans some new music.
The "Bad Romance" singer dropped a dancey new track on Thursday night
titled "Perfect Illusion,” which instantly became available on Apple
Music and for streaming on I Heart Radio.

The banger was also played on a variety of radio stations, including New York's Z100 at 11 p.m.
Gaga — born in New York City as Stefani Germanotta — has been dropping
clues all week about her upcoming work, even providing a snippet of some
of her song lyrics:
“I don't need eyes to see // I felt you touchin' me // High like
amphetamine // Maybe you're just a dream,” she shared on social media
early Wednesday morning.
In less than an hour, the 30-year-old artist garnered more than 18,000
likes on her post about the release of “Perfect Illusion” from excited
fans eager for something new.

The last time Gaga put out new solo music was in 2013 with her album
“Artpop” and her most recent work was a collaborative album with crooner
Tony Bennett, titled “Cheek to Cheek.”
“Perfect Illusion” was produced by Gaga, Mark Ronson, Bloodpop and Tame Impala singer Kevin Parker.
The "Poker Face" singer has been on a bit of a break from the pop
world, taking her acting talents to the small screen with her hit role
on "American Horror Story."
Gaga won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television
Film for her portrayal of Elizabeth in the fifth season of the series.
