The surveillance video of a motorist saving an adorable kitten from certain death in the middle of a busy highway will break your heart.
The clip posted by "Safe City” Kaliningrad, which does security
surveillance for the Russian metropolis, shows the tiny cat tumbling out
of a moving SUV before freezing in the middle of heavy traffic. They’ve
condensed the full 3 1/2-minute clip to a minute-long rollercoaster
ride, where Mack trucks and vehicles swerve and keep just missing the
terrified feline by a whisker.
But cat-astrophe is ultimately avoided by an unidentified Peugeot
driver who parks his car and walks over to the quivering stray. After
crouching down to make sure the poor thing is still alive, he picks it
up and brings it safely into his car. Phew.
Looks like this little guy gets to keep one of his nine lives.
