The
President, National Female Students Association of Nigeria(NFSAN),
Comrade Idongesit Micah Yesterday departed Nigeria for Nairobi, Kenya
ahead of the African Female Student Leaders Meeting, courtesy of
Protection Plus Services Limited.
The
student leaders meeting is to be held at the University of Nairobi
Campus, Kenya where student-related issues will be discussed, and female
student leaders across Africa are all expected to attend among several
other dignitaries.
It
is worthy of note that Comrade Idongesit Micah has always been in the
forefront of charging other female students across the country to be
active and passionate in their involvement in student unionism.
In
a phone conversation with this reporter shortly before her departure,
the President thanked the CEO of Protection Plus Services Limited, Mr
Ubong King for their magnanimity in sponsoring her trip to the female
student leadership meeting, and also expressed her unalloyed gratitude
to the establishment for organizing Women Mentorship, Entrepreneurial
and Skills Training programmes in Uyo, recently.
Also
through the medium, she vowed to remain committed to the course of
representing the female students effectively, while commending them on
their outstanding academic performance and leadership roles in the
country.
