Ciara is putting her past with Future behind her.
The singer has dropped a $15 million "false light" lawsuit against
Future — her ex and the father of her 2-year-old son — as she's moved on
to a life with a new husband and is expecting another child, TMZ reports.
The case has been dismissed and Ciara will not be able to refile it, according to the documents obtained by TMZ.
Ciara decided to follow suit after Future ranted about her during a
radio interview and proceeded to tweet that she was a bad mom and "b---h
with control problems," who allegedly wouldn't let him see his son
despite the fact he paid child support.
The "Ride" singer had also filed a defamation lawsuit, but dropped that
earlier this year when she and her legal team realized she was raking in
too much money to allege any damages.
Ciara married Seattle Seahawks player Russell Wilson in July 2016 and his expecting a child with him.
She appears to have reached a custody agreement with Future for their son, Future Jr., according to TMZ.
Ciara and Future were engaged in 2013, welcomed their son in 2014 and called off the engagement a few months later.
