FOOD: Slices to soak up New Year's vices

New to the scene...

Break sweet bread. Christmas is over, but the panettone — a traditional Italian fruit loaf — is being celebrated at Superiority Burger (430 E. Ninth St.).
The fast-food, vegetarian spot in the East Village will be re-named Panettone Hut for one night only this Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Rick Easton, of Bread and Salt Bakery in Crown Heights, will only serve slices of his candied fruit studded sweet bread, paired with gelato. That’s amore.

Nurse your New Year’s hangover...
If you can stomach it, Ribalta near Union Square (48 E. 12th St.) is serving a pizza topped with hot dogs and French fries ($18) sure to soak up all that excess alcohol. If that’s not enough of a gut-buster, belly up to maple sausage and cheddar pancakes with crispy bacon, fried eggs and hollandaise ($15) on the brunch menu at The Vine (851 Sixth Ave.). There are also pitchers of blood orange mimosa available ($45).

Try it...
ButcherBox , a food subscription that sends you 100% grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken or pork, is poised to be the new Omaha Steaks. The company delivers a different selection of top cuts each month with enough for 15-20 meals per box. The cost is $129 per month at getbutcherbox.com.

Coming soon...
One of America’s favorite ice cream flavors can soon be enjoyed out of a bag. Russell Stover is set to launch Rocky Road Bark in March. The rectangular milk chocolate bites are packed with crunchy roasted peanuts, marshmallows and caramel. The Rocky Road Bark will debut at Target, where each 5-ounce resealable pouch will sell for about $3.49.
