Never say never — unless you're talking about listening to The Weeknd's music.
Justin Bieber made it plainly evident he's no fan of the R&B
crooner, who recently began a new romance with the pop star's
ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
"Hell no, I can't listen to a Weeknd song," Bieber told a TMZ cameraman in West Hollywood after being asked whether he listens to him. "That s--t's wack."
It's the first time Bieber — who dated Gomez off and on from 2011 to
2014 — has so much as responded to a question about The Weeknd since the
new relationship went public. Last week, the 22-year-old Bieber ignored
similar questioning after paparazzi caught up to him outside of a
restaurant.
The Weeknd and Gomez sparked an online firestorm earlier this month when they were photographed making out following a date at a swanky Santa Monica, Calif., restaurant.
Drama ensured immediately after, with The Weeknd's ex-girlfriend Bella
Hadid reportedly feeling betrayed by Gomez, who has mutual connections.
But Gomez — who is in the same friend group as Hadid's sister Gigi —
doesn't see the big deal because she always considered Bella more of an
acquaintance than a good friend, according to TMZ.
Bieber, meanwhile, thinks the fresh fling is nothing more than a publicity stunt and believes Gomez is merely using The Weeknd to promote her music, TMZ reports.
Gomez and The Weeknd have been rumored to be working on new songs
together, and Bieber reportedly feels his ex previously used him — as
well as Zedd and Nick Jonas — when she wanted publicity for a new
project.
Hadid, Gomez and The Weeknd have all remained silent on the drama thus far.....
