The 46-year-old actor was involved in a physical altercation at Harrah's Casino in New Orleans early Saturday, according to local police.

A Virginia man — who was in New Orleans for the NBA All-Star game —
accused Epps and 52-year-old Brooklyn man Thomas Cobb of striking him
and repeatedly hitting him in the face "unprovoked."
The arrest affidavit for the incident gave little detail about the altercation, the New Orleans Advocate reported.
"I had a handful of chips, so I just basically bent down to protect
myself, and then my friends ran over and got in front of me, and then
security got there," the unidentified man told The Advocate.
"My face is still swollen right now and it was blackened shut," the man said Tuesday.

A rep for Epps did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.
The Def Comedy Jam alum is best known for his role as Day-Day Jones in
"Next Friday" and "Friday After Next," but he's also starred in "The
Hangover" and recently on TV as Buck Russell in "Uncle Buck."
