Anthony Michael Hall's troubles continue.
The "Breakfast Club" star is now being sued by his neighbor for alleged
assault and battery after the two got into an altercation outside their
Playa del Ray condominium, People reports.
Richard Samson accuses his celebrity neighbor of negligence, assault,
battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent
infliction of emotional stress during the lobby incident where Hall
allegedly broke his wrist, according to court records obtained by the
mag.
Samson goes on to claim in the documents that the injuries have led to
great mental, physical and emotional pain and suffering. He also says
Hall confronted him in a "rude or intimidating manner" and also said he
was a victim of "offensive touching."
"[Hall] got into a tussle with someone else in the complex. I heard
yelling out my front door and walked out to see what was going on,"
Samson told People after the incident. "I told him, 'You need to calm
down.' Within two seconds, he was in my face and said some very
unpleasant things to me. He then shoved me and I fell to the ground."
The alleged incident was caught on video, obtained by TMZ, and shows Hall shoving Samson.
Hall pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles County Court on Dec. 1 to charges of felony battery with great bodily injury. If proven guilty, he would face four to seven years in jail.
