International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the
social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. In
joining the celebrations this year, Guardian Life is celebrating exceptional women in media by profiling 4 leading women on the March cover.

The
women who are taking charge of changing the narrative of the African
continent as strong,
 hard working and relentless pan-African
broadcasters are Peace Hyde, West Africa Correspondent Forbes Africa and Forbes Woman Africa, Stephanie Busari, Head CNN Nigeria Bureau, Keturah King from CNN Africa Voices and Bolanle Olukanni
of Ebony Life TV. These women have been highlighted as change makers in
the media space who are using the power of media to tell impactful
African stories via their globally recognized platforms.
In a chat
with Guardian Life they explain the tools, which they have been using
thus far to change the single story, their plans to aid the girl child
and more.
