Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez invited a third party on their date — her mom!
Guadalupe Rodriguez joined the new couple during a stroll through lower Manhattan Sunday.
Lopez and Rodriguez’s date — which came on the first nice day of spring
— continues a busy week for the two, who were also spotted around New
York at lunch on Thursday and Friday.
The retired Yankees slugger raved about Lopez on “The View” Friday.
“She's an amazing, amazing girl,” Rodriguez, 41, said.
“One of the smartest human beings I've ever met, and also an incredible mother.”
The celebrity couple have been together for almost five months, but their relationship didn’t go public until early March.
Rodriguez had previously been dating Silicon Valley tycoon Anne Wojcicki.
"It's obvious, we've been having a great time," the former Bomber said of Lopez on “The View.”
"She was a track star in high school and junior high, so she's an
awesome, awesome athlete. She just likes simple things. I mean, she's a
very, very simple person. Loves family. She's a great sister, a great
daughter."
Rodriguez just started his first year as a full-time MLB analyst for Fox Sports.
