The model, 21, is keeping mum and out of sight until the uproar over her controversial Pepsi protest commercial dies down.
Jenner flew into Los Angeles from Paris Friday and has been keeping a low profile her family.

“Kendall is still not happy about the controversy,” a source told People.
“She plans on laying low until things calm down. She still talks about
it a lot and has support from her family. She is spending a quiet
weekend with her family.”
In the ad, titled “Live for Now Moments Anthem,” Jenner leaves a photo
shoot to join a group of protestors who are reminiscent of a “Black
Lives Matter” protest. The commercial ends with Jenner handing a Pepsi
can to a police officer, who takes a gulp, and is met with a roar of
approval from the demonstrators.
The ad was immediately met with criticism for being tone deaf and
belittling the Black Lives Matter movement. Initially Pepsi defended the
ad but then pulled it.
Jenner is reportedly distraught over the backlash and did not expect it at all.
“She has been very upset. She feels terrible. She loves being a model,”
the source said. “To get a Pepsi gig was a big deal. She was very
excited. She never expected it to receive such backlash. She hopes
people understand that she wasn’t involved in the creative process.”
The Vogue cover girl has been in constant communication with her mother and sisters who have all offered support and advice.
“Kendall loves modeling,” the source continued. “She just wants to do a
good job. She has no desire to be a part of something controversial.
She is very aware of the backlash and [IS]not happy. They are coming up
with a plan on how to deal with it. She has been talking to [her mother
Kris Jenner] about it.
