Lady Gaga shows appreciation to ‘A Star is Born’ co-star Bradley Cooper during Coachella set

Lady Gaga took opportunity of her platform as a Coachella heading by sending some love to Bradley Cooper.

The pop star concluded her set at the Indio, Calif., music festival by plugging her upcoming movie "A Star Is Born," which co-stars Cooper, who directed the film and recruited Gaga to join.

"To Bradley Cooper and 'A Star is Born' which was filming here tonight! Ha! I didn't tell you until now!" Gaga said about her movie, due out September 2018, to the crowd of roughly 30,000 concertgoers at about 1 a.m. local time.
She then departed the stage and did not return for an encore.

Earlier in her farewell address, the "Born This Way" singer thanked her backup dancers, as well as Jimmy Iovine, the co-founder of her label Interscope Records.
It was Gaga's second performance at the festival, following up her initial gig last Saturday during Coachella's first weekend.
During the performance, Gaga dedicated her song "Edge of Glory" to her friend and former assistant Sonja Durham, who is fighting Stage 4 cancer.

My friend Sonja is very sick and I love her so much and if it's OK with you, I'd like to sing this song for her," Gaga said before performing the hit, according to Us Weekly.

She then sang a simple, stripped down version of the song on the piano, before pausing to give another dedication to her friend.
"I'm sorry you don't feel well ... We all wish you were here with us."
The 31-year-old Gaga was a late addition to the two-weekend festival. She was named Beyoncé's replacement in February after the "Sorry" singer had to back out due to her pregnancy.
