The transgender TV star admits to suffering some slip-ups in a new teaser for her upcoming interview special with Diane Sawyer about life after her transition to a woman.
"Have I made mistakes?" Jenner asks. "Certainly."
The 20-second clip ask features Sawyer asking the former Olympian —
who
reintroduced herself to the world as Caitlyn in 2015 — whether she ever
has "doubt" about whether she "did the right thing."
The camera cuts away before revealing Jenner's direct answer to the question.
The short clip is the first promo for Sawyer's "20/20" sit-down with the 66-year-old Jenner. It serves as a follow-up to their groundbreaking April 2015 interview, during which Jenner revealed she identifies as a woman for the first time.
"I have the soul of a woman," the reality star, who was still known as
Bruce at the time, said during the two-hour special. "For all intents
and purposes, I am a woman."
Jenner reintroduced herself as Caitlyn less than two months later in a Vanity Fair cover story.
The new "20/20" special airs on April 21 on ABC.
