Casper Smart has signed off on Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship.
“It’s all respect and love,” he told TMZ, while describing the retired Yankee as an “incredibly player” and a “legend.”
Smart and Lopez, who met while Smart worked as her backup dancer, dated on and off from 2011 to 2016.
The dancer, who will star in the upcoming “Dirty Dancing” remake, gushed about his ex in March.
“Jennifer is, like, phenomenal, phenomenal, phenomenal,” he told Us Weekly.
Lopez, meanwhile, began dating Rodriguez several months ago.
The two made their red carpet debut last week at the Met gala.
"We had a great time that night. We had an amazing time," Lopez said on
the “Today” show Monday. "We went in, we danced, it was awesome."
