You know that feeling when you buy a pair of "nude" undies...but then
discover after wearing them under your white shorts that they're not
nude at ALL? That's because what's generally considered nude really
reflects the skin tone of only a small number of people.
Thankfully, Target is the next retail giant to finally expand its line of lingerie to properly reflect the varied spectrum of our complexions.
The four new hues introduced to the line include cocoa, caramel,
honey beige, and mochaccino (*drools*) in garments like lacy thongs,
hip-huggers, nylons, and thigh shapers. The models featured in the
campaign also represent a variety of shapes and sizes, further promoting
the body-positive message.
What’s even more inclusive is the price tag: The line starts at $5.
Haven’t found your match just yet? No sweat. In a statement, the retailer says it plans to add more shades to its intimates, hosiery, and shoe roster this fall.
Shop the looks that the models are wearing in your shad.
