Taylor Swift Might Have A New Boyfriend—Here's What You Need To Know

But a new report says she’s been spending her time off with her new boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn.

According to U.K. tabloid The Sun,

Taylor and Joe have been dating for a few months, and it’s serious enough that she’s been renting a house in North London to spend time with him. And the reason you haven’t seen the two of them together is because Taylor’s been wearing disguises while she’s out with her new man, The Sun says. Well played, T.

If you don’t know Joe’s name, he played Billy Lynn in Ang Lee’s 2016 military drama, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, co-starring Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel, Garrett Hedlund, Steve Martin, and Chris Tucker. No word on how the two met, but People points out that Joe just finished working on a movie called The Favourite, which stars Emma Stone who is one of Taylor’s oldest famous friends.

If the rumors are true, this isn’t the first time Taylor has dated someone from the U.K. Her last high-profile relationship was with British actor Tom Hiddleston (they broke up in September), and before that, she dated Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. She also once dated Harry Styles and reportedly wrote the song "Style" about him.

Again, this is just a rumor at the moment, but it’s not totally unthinkable that Taylor might be heating things up with another guy from the U.K.
