After Horror has come Hope - and lots of Homework!

Before our first class of scholarship girls started at their new school a year ago, they were terrified, uncertain and malnourished

They have truly transformed in just one year.  No longer fearful, they have grown assertive and joyful.  They have earned good grades and have already become leaders among their classmates.

Most important - for them and for girls around the world -  they are filled with the thrilling, inspiring knowledge that they matter - that they matter to you!

This summer, "our girls" are receiving more social support and intense summer tutoring from our team in Nigeria as they continue to make up for the years Boko Haram terrorists kept them out of school.

Thank you for bringing such hope and joy to these girls and to many more like them to come!!
With Gratitude,
Afam

As you can read in this powerful recent Time Magazine article, the need is tremendous, and our work is just beginning.
