Faces behind the Camera:
People love, love, love photos. Hence the massive traffic on our
social media platforms. I don’t think we can help it. Of course, this is
amazing but there is something we tend to forget in all of this, the talent behind the cameras. It slips our minds that photographers are the backbone of the media industry in print, broadcast and the internet.
Today’s article goes out to all the photographers, especially
fashion
photographers. With that here are African photographers and studios
with amazing talent and skill to look out for in 2017.1.KELECHI AMADI-OBI
With his passion for photography even with a Degree in Law,
Nigerian-born, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, went into studio art full time. He has
been very successful over the years with some of his works have been
featured in exhibitions within and outside Nigeria.He is truly an
inspiration.
2. OMAR VICTOR DIOP.
Senegalese photographer, Omar Victor Diop, has made a name for himself in the media industry as a very talented creative and we cannot wait to see more of his works.3. BARBARA MINISHI
Barbara Minishi is a professional photographer and art director from Nairobi, Kenya with an eye for detail which makes her one of the best.4. DEUN IVORY
She is popular for being a skilled photographer, illustrator and creative entrepreneur. Her message is that of self-care, women’s empowerment and the celebration for women of colour through design and creative direction.5. APAG STUDIOS
Ghanaian in origin, the works of Apagnawen Annankra have been very much celebrated because of his keen eye and talent in what he does.He is an inspiration to the young generation as a self-taught photographer.6. TREVOR STUURMAN
