Fashion Myth Demystified: Embracing the Fuller Figure “Plussize”. || PHTOS

PLUS SIZE FASHION CAN NEVER LOOK BAD.

For a very long time, women with fuller figures have been made to feel sub standard compared to others just because they do not fit in society’s idea of an average woman.

This has progressed into body shaming. Both expressed and implied. During fashion weeks, clothes were designed in smaller sizes suited for the smaller frames leaving the plus size category with nothing fashionable to wear and as a result, lead to low self-esteem and self-hating. It went so far to the point where women who were full-figured had it drilled into their minds by societal norms that they needed to be thinner to be happy.

3. CHANTE B.

4. TY ALEXANDER.

5. KIM

6. CHARISMA MONROE

Today’s article in highlighting this issue shows us women who have embraced their curves and with that have come to find their fashion sense and absolutely fall in love with it. Beauty is in your mind. Love yourself. Eat right. Dress right. Be right with no apology to anyone about your figure. Life is short and it should be spent being happy and not being scared to show who you are in the most beautiful light.

In my opinion, style is good fashion and self-comfort and if you have both who says you are not fashionable? NOT A SINGLE PERSON.
