The “Melrose Place” alum was hospitalized after crashing her Porsche outside of Los Angeles around 9 p.m., according to TMZ.
Locklear, 55, was taken to the hospital after the accident with minor injuries, the gossip website reported.
The actress made her first public appearance in more than a year last
weekend at the Farrah Fawcett Foundation's Tex-Mex Fiesta.
In September 2008, she was arrested for driving under the influence
outside of Santa Barbara, but the district attorney chalked the incident
up to a reaction from her prescription medication for anxiety and
depression.
Locklear pleaded no contest to reckless driving and the DUI charges
were dropped; she was sentenced to sentenced to three years of informal
probation and a DMV driver safety class and given a $700 fine.
She was not cited for driving under the influence after the Thursday night crash, TMZ reported.
In January 2012, she was hospitalized after her sister called 911 and
reported that the actress was mixing prescription drugs and alcohol. She
was released the next day.
In January 2017, amid rumors that she had entered rehab for the fifth time, Locklear struck down speculation.
"I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life,” she said in a statement.
“Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”
Locklear’s rep did not immediately return a request for comment.
