The 24-year-old — who last month broke a non-disclosure agreement to go on record accusing the singer
of mentally and physically abusing her as a teenager — appeared on
television for the first time Monday, and revealed how she got away from
Kelly's alleged "sex cult" in 2010.
"He was preparing for a party at the time and I told him I wanted to go
to my uncle's house to grab some shoes," Pace said on "The Real." "And
he was like, 'OK, well when you get there, you get the shoes and you
come right back.' And at that moment, I knew, when I got out of the
house, I'm not going back. I lied and I got out. I left everything
behind."
Pace alleged in a bombshell BuzzFeed interview
last month that she began a sexual relationship with the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer when she was just 16.
last month that she began a sexual relationship with the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer when she was just 16.
In the interview, she claimed he was violent at times, and required her
to wear baggy clothing and ask permission before showering, eating and
going to the bathroom.
On Monday, she went into further detail about their relationship, and
explained that Kelly used an older woman to "train" Pace on how to
please him sexually.
"She trained me in everything that I was doing, she told me how to please him, and she also taught me what I like," she said.
Pace said her training kicked off on Kelly's tour bus, where he was waiting, naked, along with the trainer.
