The celebrity couple’s surrogate, a San Diego woman in her late 20s, is due in January, Us Weekly previously reported.

The rapper and the reality star already have daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 21 months.
Kardashian was previously diagnosed with placenta accreta, a
potentially life-threatening condition that occurs when parts of the
placenta grow too deep within the uterine wall and can cause severe
blood loss after delivery, leading to the hiring of a surrogate.
She and West will pay $45,000 for the surrogate, paid in increments of
$4,500 per month for ten months, as well as a $68,850 deposit to the
agency, according to TMZ.
In April, Kardashian opened up about the potential risks associated with a possible third pregnancy.
“I’d just love nothing more than to expand my family and just know that
I have this world at home that’s safe,” she said on “Keeping Up with
the Kardashians.”
“And if for some reason I left this earth sooner than I really wanted
to, then my kids would have a support system at home so that I know that
they would be okay if I wasn’t here.”
