Hilton Hotels Worldwide and Transcorp hotels, a subsidiary of Transcorp Plc - Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp Plc) today announced the signing of a 20-year extension to the current agreement to manage the iconic Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja. The agreement will see Hilton manage the property until 2037.
Chairman, Heirs Holdings & Transcorp Plc, Tony O. Elumelu, C.O.N, MD, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Valentine Ozigbo, and President/CEO, Hilton, Chris Nassetta signed the agreement in the United States, a day before the inaugural Obama Foundation Summit was scheduled to begin.
Transcorp Hilton, the leading destination hotel in Nigeria, which has hosted countless heads of state and global events like the World Economic Forum on Africa since it opened in 1987, is a true testament to Heirs Holdings Group’s commitment to excellence.
The hotel was recently enhanced by a US$100m investment programme that upgraded its 8th, 9th & 10th-floor experience for the luxurious comfort of its customers.
