The Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony O. Elumelu, C.O.N has called on the government to prioritise its youth to achieve economic progress.
He made this call today while speaking at the opening plenary session of the 23rd Nigerian Economic Summit themed “Opportunities, Productivity and Employment: Actualizing the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan”, which was held at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
Elumelu urged the government to prioritize access to electricity to drive job creation, inclusive growth and the diversification of the economy. He identified the creative industry and SMEs as two sectors that have the potential to attract foreign investments and transform the economy if the government puts in place favourable policies and adequate structural support.
