Atiku Abubakar in Ekiti, Begins Mobilisation for 2019 Presidential Elections

NIGERIA - Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose led other dignitaries to welcome the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, to the State. 

Fayose and his entourage received Atiku at the Akure Airport in Ondo State. 

Atiku is scheduled to meet with the selected PDP members in Ado-Ekiti before jetting out of the State.

Atiku, who has expressed his interest to contest the 2019 presidential elections, recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to realise his ambition. 

  Analysts said the political permutations have been stepped up and there's every possibility that former vice president may pick Fayose as his running mate.
