Ikpeazu Celebrates Amuta @ 72

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has felicitated with Dr. Gershon Amuta as the latter marked his 72nd birthday anniversary. 

The governor described Amuta as a father, mentor and role model. In a statement signed by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, Ikpeazu thanked God for keeping Amuta alive to witness

the actualisation of the struggle for an Abia State Governor of Ngwa extraction, praying God to keep and bless him with good health. “Dr Amuta is a leader, a father and a role model, who does not shy away from responsibilities. 

“You fought very hard to see the liberation of our people. You were in the frontline for the actualisation of Abia Governor of Ngwa extraction, at a point you offered yourself, we are happy that today, you have not only witnessed that actualisation, you also played a frontline role to ensure the actualisation," the governor said. 

Ikpeazu wished Amuta many more years of contributions to the growth and development of Abia State and Nigeria.
