Meet Newly Decorated Ogun State Ambassador for Culture and Tourism...

An African Board Commissioner for the City of Newark in New Jersey, Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi, popularly called Ms. Lammy, was Friday appointed and decorated as the Ogun State Ambassador for Culture and Tourism. 

 Ms. Lammy's ambassadorial appointment was
approved by the Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and the State Executive Council. 

This was followed by the decoration and presentation of plaque to the Ogun State Ambassador for Culture and Tourism.

Ms. Lammy, who hails from Abeokuta and is married to an Ijebu-Ode man, has always identified with her state of origin - Ogun State. She has been doing her best to promote Ogun State, Nigeria and ultimately Africa.

In her remarks, the newly decorated Ogun State Ambassador for Culture and Tourism said: "I am extremely humbled and honored to be appointed as the Ogun State Ambassador for Culture and Tourism.


"Ogun State is a very unique State; a state that is home to some of the most industrious citizens of Nigeria. Ogun State doesn't celebrate mediocrity, That is why I am extremely humbled to be called upon for this honor." 

According to her, "I look forward to working with Ogun..."
