Cristiano Ronaldo says Lionel Messi is one of only two players who have played consistently in their top form for more than 10 years.

The Juventus star named himself as the other footballer.
Over the past 10 years
the pair have won the Ballon d'Or five times apiece, proving their excellent consistency in the game.
"Do you know how many players are able to be at the top of their form for more than 10 years?" Ronaldo posed to France Football.
"You can count them on the fingers of one hand. OK, let's say there are two: Messi and I.
"
But despite his strong opinion of Messi, the Juventus star still doesn't think he'll be in the running for this year's Ballon d'Or.
When asked who will rival him to the award, he said: "The same as usual, even if I don’t know if Messi will be on the podium this time.
"So, let’s say Salah, Modric, Griezmann, Varane, Mbappe – the French in general because they are world champions.
"
Ronaldo no longer has to worry about his La Liga rivalry with Lionel Messi since joining Juventus for £88m.
Ronaldo has equalled a 60-year old record at the club. After a stuttering start in Italy, he has found the back of the net 7 times in his past 10 games.
