Pregnant woman receives free anemia screening

Thanks to you, our GEANCO Foundation family of donors, over 300 vulnerable pregnant women in Nigeria receive free prenatal care, medicine, and nutritional supplements each and every month. 

 

Thanks to you, over 13,000 women and children received free anemia screenings this year.  

Anemia is a dangerous blood condition that often goes undiagnosed and kills tens of thousands of Nigerian mothers and babies annually.  We are the only organization in Nigeria (a country of 180 million people!) that screens for anemia - for free - using the latest, noninvasive technology.
