The Simple Change Big Impact Challenge was one of the most participated
Nigerian community challenge in 2018. Organized by Guaranty Trust Bank
plc., as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Challenge
offered 20 Nigerians on Social Media the opportunity to get up to N1
million funds for their proposed ideas to add real value to their
communities.

One of the top 20 winning ideas is The Sandcastle Initiative which
was executed in a small village in Lagos. The Sandcastle project
utilized recycled materials to create beautiful things for children to
play with, creating the first Nigerian School with a Sandcastle of its
kind.
