Fought night ago, World of Dance entered
into the Duels round, where dancers competed head-to-head within their
divisions to see who will move on to the next round, the Cut. While the
night was full of surprises, one of the biggest upsets came in the first
duel between high-scoring trio Tobias and the EZ Twins versus the
underdogs, the D'Angelo brothers.

The Italian tap dancing brothers blew everyone away with an impressive performance to "Tutti Frutti." Judge Jennifer Lopez
even said it was the first time she’d gotten "goosies" during a tap
routine. (The D'Angelo brothers won their duel, btw, proving everyone
really does love an underdog story.)
In case you missed it, check out their goosie-inducing routine:
If you guessed it’s J.Lo's (ridiculously adorable) nickname for
"goosebumps," you’d be right. In fact, "I got goosies" is one of J.Lo’s
trademark comments on the show, and it’s definitely a compliment every time. (Another recent performance that left J.Lo covered in goosies was contemporary soloist Lauren Yakima’s routine to "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight.")
J.Lo’s signature remark actually stems from her days as a judge on American Idol,
where she explained that she usually gets goosebumps on her arms and
legs, but sometimes, all the way up to her face when someone really
slays their performance.
In case you’re
wondering, the other judges are totally on board with sharing when
they’ve been hit with the goosies as well. Earlier this season, Derek Hough praised 10-member group Unity L.A.’s contemporary performance, declaring, "I got goosies on my thighs."
And if last night's episode is any indication, there will be plenty of goosies in season 3.
