Award Winning Culinary Experts to Facilitate the GTBank Food and Drink Festival Masterclass

As we countdown to the Biggest food exhibition and sales event in Africa continues, the GTBank Food and Drink Festival, here are some of the culinary experts lines up for the masterclasses.
Chef Raphael Duntoye

Chef Raphael Duntoye is the Chef Patron of La Petite Maison, a popular upscale French Mediterranean restaurant with outlets in London, Dubai, Miami, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Istanbul.
Renowned for his lightness of touch and reverence for the best fresh produce, Chef Raphael began his culinary journey in 1995 when he left a career in engineering to follow a life-long passion for food and cooking that would lead him to become Chef Patron of an award-winning kitchen at La Petite Maison.
Chef Raphael will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival on Wednesday, May 1st 2019, to demonstrate how to Achieve the Ultimate Sophistication Through Simplicity.

Matse Uwatse-Nnoli




Matse Uwatse-Nnoli is an award-winning radio presenter and prolific food blogger renowned for her innovative African spices and stunning food photography, which she regularly shares with over 100,000 Instagram followers.
Matse began her career as a radio presenter and made a name for herself as an On-Air Personality with Wazobia and Nigeria Info Fm where she mentored and groomed other notable on-air personalities. After her stint as a radio presenter, Maste returned to her first love–cooking, and created MatseCooks Limited in 2014 to educate and start conversations around food and drinks from all around the continent.
Matse will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival on Monday, April 29th 2019 to illustrate The Ultimate Guide to Food Seasoning.

Thitid Tassanakajohn
Thitid Tassanakajohn, also known as Chef Ton, is the rising star of Thailand’s culinary scene, and runs one of the most exciting kitchens out of Bangkok. His restaurant, Le Du, is ranked seventh in Thailand Tatler’s Top 10 Best Restaurants and 37th in the annual Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
Chef Ton is also a wine connoisseur and a Certified Sommelier (CS) from the renowned Court of Master Sommelier, which was established to encourage quality standards for beverage service in hotels and restaurants. Chef Ton will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival on Wednesday, May 1st 2019, to demonstrate Reinventing traditional recipes.

Chef Shota Nakajima
Chef Shota Nakajima is the owner and chef of Adana, a Japanese restaurant located in Seattle, Washington DC.
Popular for infusing specificity and nuance in his cooking, Chef Shota began his career as a teenager cooking in Seattle-based Japanese restaurants.  At age 18, he moved to Japan where he attended one of the country’s most prestigious schools, Tsuji Culinary Arts School. After his graduation, Chef Shota worked for the Michelin Star Chef, Yasuhiko Sakamoto.
On Sunday, April 28th 2019, Chef Shota will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival to demonstrate the Art of Sushi Making.
