The Ahead of the 2019 African Investment Forum (AIF), the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) and the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) would meet industry and business leaders in Abuja on Monday (July 9) as part of a roadshow to woo investors.
AIF, continent’s biggest investment marketplace for accelerated economic transformation, would hold from November 11 to 13, 2019 in Johannesburg.
The event, which would hold at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, would build on the quantity and quality of deals brokered in 2018, as well as explore investment opportunities across the continent.
The Abuja roadshow, which targets chief executive officers, captains of industry, state governments and other key players, is expected to re-affirm Nigeria’s investment-ready status.
By convening Nigeria’s premium project sponsors, borrowers, lenders and investors, the roadshow would showcase bankable projects, attract financing, and provide platforms for investing across multiple countriess.
