Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) has announced that there would be a temporary road closure at the Railway Crossing in Yaba from 8pm on today (October 16) to 1am tomorrow (October 17), due to the ongoing track laying for the Lagos-Ibadan Rail project.

LASTMA, in a statement,
advised motorists to make use of the following alternative routes during the closure: those going to Tejuosho Street from Herbert Macaulay Way should pass through Yaba or ply Jibowu-Empire-Moshalasi-Ojuelegba to access Tejuosho.
While soliciting for the support and understanding of members of the public for the inconvenience from the temporary closure of the Railway Crossing at Yaba, LASTMA assured that traffic and law enforcement officers would be on ground to manage the flow of traffic.
Motorists going to Tejuosho Street from Ikorodu Road should pass through Fadeyi-Dormanlong Bridge-Ojuelegba-Tejuosho; or through Fadeyi-Jibowu-Empire-Moshalasi-Ojuelegba-Tejuosho Street to reach their destinations.
