Aloe vera is a “good choice” as a natural lubricant, as long as it’s actually 100-percent pure aloe vera, Dr. Wider says. (Some aloe veras contain artificial ingredients that can irritate your vagina, she explains.) This is also safe to use with latex condoms and is usually very gentle on the skin.
