They have very particular needs.

Picky, picky, picky! We're all picky about certain things. Whether it's food-related, fashion-oriented or entertainment, we all have preferences for what we'll accept and what we reject.

Some are picky about the color of their food

and won't eat anything but white foods. Some are picky about what they spend their money on — perhaps they require a certain price tag for it to be considered quality. And some are picky about the kind of partner they want in their life.

Being picky is a form of discrimination, and discrimination is a way for us to bring into our lives what we want and need, rather than what we repel.

We are picky about our timing, our sleep, our medications; we are picky about our coffee beans, our fabrics, our phones; we are picky about what images we reveal to the public, and how we are perceived.

So, what is each zodiac sign picky about?

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

This sign is really not into slumming it on any level. It's quality products all the way. So, when Aries gets picky, it's about surrounding themselves with top-dollar items, expensive endeavors and quality indulgences.

Aries doesn't settle for Godiva chocolate — it's Neuhaus or nothing at all.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Taurus knows music well. They are freaks for the stuff and they know what they want, and they are exceptionally picky when it comes to their musical tastes.

Because they are so informed, they know where to turn for new music, and it better be good or it won't make the Taurus playlist.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Gemini is almost ridiculously picky about how they live their lives and what they believe in, so much so that if you disagree with them, they close the door on you permanently.

Gemini is picky about lifestyle. It's their way or the highway, and, honestly, the highway is a much better place than being next to a picky, judgmental Gemini.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Cancers are sticklers for friendship. They love 'em and want to be surrounded by great, devoted friends 'til the day they die... unless, of course, their friend has a difference of opinion. Then it's "game over" for the friendship.

If you're going to be the friend of a Cancer, then know that they may be too picky to include you in their inner circle.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

This group, too, loves quality items. The more, the better; in fact, Leo tends to hoard beautiful things, almost to the point where they clog up their own households.

If it costs a zillion dollars and it registers to Leo as a "must have," then Leo will get that item. It must be perfect and it must be theirs!

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

Virgo is very picky about the food they eat. They can go full-blown eating disorder, or they can go gluttonous overeater, but in the long run, the issue is food and they are really nit-picky over what they eat.

It may be a conveyor belt filled with bacon-covered Cheetos, or it may be a vegan paradise. Whatever it is, it's food-oriented and they won't budge on the topic.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Libra is particularly picky about alone time. They do not want to share their every moment with another person, which seems appropriate, being that so much of what they do is sneaky and shady.

They are ferociously private people who will end their relationship with anyone if their time alone is not honored. Best to leave them alone to their plotting.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

Scorpio is picky about what you have to say. They want you to react a certain way, talk a certain way, be a certain way. They are so controlling that their pickiness isn't even about themselves, it's all about you.

You need to eat what they want you to eat, think as they want you to think. They are happiest when they order you around, and they're very picky about how you react to that arrangement.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Already known as the most independent of the signs, Sagittarius keeps that up by letting us all know how picky they are when it comes to being with other people. Sagittarius will allow a few moments of socializing to take place, then they need to bolt — fast.

They are picky about how social they get, which is virtually never.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

Capricorn takes it back down to the materialistic when it comes to pickiness. They will not wear certain kinds of clothes or materials. If they are vegan, you'll never hear the end of how animal products ruin life on earth. If they are drag queens, you'll only see them in the finest mesh front wigs, with Louboutins on, sparing no expense. Capricorn loves expensive things — it's all or nothing at all!

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarius is very picky about their choices. They like to think things out before acting on them, and those thoughts tend to be very specific and well organized.

So, when it's time to choose, let's just say they made some very fussy decisions just trying to come up with a final plan, but that final plan? They dedicate themselves to it. They're not just picky, they're adamant.

Pisces (February 19 - March 10)

Pisces has a picky problem; they are not satisfied with anything, and that, unfortunately, transfers over to their feelings about people as well. You may be too ugly for a Pisces to have anything to do with.

They are seriously picky about the gifts they receive and will re-gift your precious choice for them without thinking twice. Pisces is a very nice sign, but they are also picky, snobby and a bit critical.
