Germany Men's Handball Team finish Fifth in World Championships

 


Outstanding goalkeeping from Andreas Wolff helped Germany's men finish fifth in the handball world championships with a 28-24 (16-13) win against Norway in Stockholm on Sunday.

fifth in the handball world championships with a 28-24 (16-13) win against Norway in Stockholm on Sunday.

Luca Witzke, Johannes Golla and Kai Häfner were Germany's top scorers with five goals each. 

In a ninth game in 17 days, the German team showed no signs of fatigue in front of 6,260 spectators. The European championships take place in Germany next year.

The final between France and Denmark takes place later on Sunday.
