GTBank introduces e-payment solution for Western Union receipt via ATMs

Foremost African financial institution, Guaranty Trust Bank plc has reaffirmed its position as a leading provider of e-payment solutions with the introduction of a new service that allows customers receive Western Union funds directly into their GTBank account via any of the Bank’s Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in Nigeria. The service is also available on the Bank’s Internet Banking platform (www.gtbank.com).

Africa to see the Largest increase in e-payments between now and 2016 – Visa

Visa, an international electronic payment company, sponsored the Prepaid Summit Middle East event for the sixth consecutive year in 2015. The event was held in Dubai. Uniting over 150 leading participants, the conference is a regional standard for the electronic payments industry.

After the awards ceremony, UBA Cameroon was crowned the winner of the “Prepaid Innovative Product of the Year” award for its innovative “Cobranded Student ID Visa Prepaid” concept, which aims to provide universities and students with a multi-function Visa card.
